1. VALIDITY
Quotations are valid for 30 days due to the volatility of the ZAR against Major Foreign Currencies.

2. LEAD TIMES
Ex-Stock subject to prior sale or 4 – 6 weeks import, depending on stock availability from Manufacturer, after receipt of order for non-stock items.

3. PRICES
Prices quoted exclude installation, training and commissioning. This will be quoted separately on request. If CIF or FOB required, PLEASE request a REVISED quote in writing. (CIF will then be quoted Freight and Insurance included to Port, excluding Off Loading at Port, Customs Clearance & Packaging)

4. DELIVERY
(After receipt of Payment if no Account)
Goods Ex-stock\: Collection – 1- 3 days ; Delivery Goods Ex-import 1-2 weeks for research kits and consumables; 4-6 weeks for equipment. However should goods be required urgently a request is to be sent in writing. A new Proforma / Quotation will then be issued including Speedy Importation charges, if Ex-Stock with manufacturer.
Special Manufacturing e.g. Glassblowing Approx 4-6 weeks (after receipt of Payment).
Special Non-Stock; Approx 4- 6 weeks (after receipt of Payment).

DELIVERY FEES
For customers within RSA, courier costs will be provided based on the weight and volume of items quoted as well as shipping address provided by the customer. Where a customer opts to collect the order, quotations will be provided exclusive of delivery fees. Customers outside RSA should send us an email to request shipping costs.

**It is the CUSTOMER’S responsibility to check that goods delivered and signed for are in good condition upon arrival. Once the Proof of Delivery has been signed by the CUSTOMER or its representative, we will not be held liable for any returns whatsoever.

5. TERMS;

Account Holders; Strictly 100% NETT within in 30 days from statement. Failure to pay may result in your account being put on hold.

Non-Account Holders; Cash on Collection EFT in Advance, goods will be released 2 days after transfer, if ex-stock. (no Cheque, no Credit Card, no L/C)

6. CANCELLATION
Orders are Firm and not subject to cancellation once orders have been placed, regardless of any delays that may occur due to unforeseen circumstances. Where cancellation of an order has been approved by management, the client will become liable for a cancellation / handling fee of no less than 20% of the original selling price.

7. SPECIAL NON-STOCK ITEMS
Pre-payment of 50% / 100% deposit may be requested. Once ordered no cancellation will be accepted. Should you cancel, you will bear all costs for shipping the goods to the country of origin, should the manufacturer accept returns. On payment in advance, all shipping, packing, bank charges etc shall be deducted before giving you a refund.

8. Special Manufacturing e.g. Glassblowing
Once Production has commenced no cancellation will be accepted, should you cancel you will be held liable to pay for the goods, no refund will be given on advanced payment.

9. FULL T&C’S
Acceptance of a quote / proforma invoice is in contingence of our General Terms & Conditions of sale, a copy of which is available on request.

10. RETURN GOODS POLICY
In order to preserve product cold chain and quality, we have a strictly no return of goods policy, except in the event of any material error on our part as to the amount or type of goods delivered. Return of goods for any other reason shall require our written consent PRIOR to return of any goods, which consent shall be at our absolute discretion. Consideration to requests for return may be given if:
• of a bona fide nature;
• made within 24 hours of actual delivery and in original packing;
• related to unused and undamaged goods, and
• in respect of goods specifically identified by Invoice Number
• All goods returned under this condition shall be accompanied by a return goods note quoting:
• CUSTOMER name and address;
• The quantity, description, size and our order number of the goods concerned;
• The invoice number and order number, and
• The reason for the return

11. FORCE MAJEURE:

We shall not be under any liability for any delay, loss or damage caused wholly or in part by an act of God, government restriction condition or control of laws rules or regulations of the country of origin of the goods, non-arrival of imported goods, inability to obtain transport or loading facilities or by reason or any act done or not done pursuant to a trade dispute whether such dispute involves our employees or not or by reason of any other act matter or thing beyond our reasonable control.
